The
HURIS suite is built as a server centric Internet based
component architecture. Any Internet enabled device, such as a
Web Browser running from a desktop or a laptop or a palm top can
access HURIS. HURIS supports true systems integration between
disparate systems using technologies such as XML (Extensible
Markup Language) and HTTP (HyperText Transfer Protocol). You can
seamlessly integrate HURIS with your existing systems including
Payroll, CRM Systems, SCM systems or transfer data from your
existing HR systems. The
technical infrastructure required is:
Client
Workstation: HURIS architecture is really without a client.
There is no executable at the client. The client can use any
Internet device that uses standard Internet technologies such as
XML and HTTP. No additional software is required to be installed
at the client side as the client device already has the all the
software and configuration it needs to access HURIS.
Server Platform: The Server Platform is at the heart of HURIS
and may be leveraging on several technologies depending on
system needs and final requirements. Generally the main
requirements are Windows NT 4.0 (or higher) with Internet
Information Server 4.0(IIS4), 5.0 (IIS5) on any network using
TCP/IP as its protocol.
Database:
HURIS allows you to choose the database as per your
corporate and strategic needs. You could choose from SQL Server,
Oracle, SQL 2000, Sybase, DB2 or virtually any other relational
database.
Using
HURIS Component Interfaces, third party systems can be
integrated using COM (Common Object Model), CORBA (Common Object
Request Broker Architecture), EJB (Enterprise Java Beans), or
XML Bindings.
